Y o g a K i d s workshops at your school or community centre!
Children who learn yoga improve their ability to concentrate, self-discipline, attitude to diet, as well as getting the physical benefits of increased flexbility, balance and muscular strength. Yoga builds confidence, social skills and trust in yourself and others. Most importantly, children learn to relax - without needing tv, computer games or anything other than themselves.
The workshop can be for up to 30 children (with teacher or teacher's assistant support) for 30-45 minutes, this could be at lunchtime, after school or as a special lesson on "my relax time" as part of PSHE.
